Drain Protection

The protection of surface-water drains against the entry of fluids other than water is of first-line importance. With this in mind, three levels of drain protection are shown on this page. Each has its own specific use, and consideration should be given to ensuring that the correct level is specified.

Polyurethane Drain Cover, Re-Usable. Laminated polyurethane construction, with the under-side remaining malleable across normal ambient temperatures Easy to deploy. Resistance to oils, solvents and most chemicals. Available in 3 sizes.   For more information contact Blue Diamond sales.
Benonite Clay Drain Mat (Pack of 2) Easily moulds to the irregularities of the drain surround. Mould two or more together for larger drains. Intended for 'once-only' use, and must be discarded after use. Ideal for including in spill response kits for vulnerable areas. For more information contact Blue Diamond sales.
Wall Mounted Box. All metal construction. Powder coated yellow. Easily fits to any wall surface. High visibility and clear signage ensures quick deployment should an incident occur. Two sizes are available.
