1. Do not tighten bushing bolts beyond recommended torque values
2. Use adequate drive guard
3. Keep pulley rim speeds below maximum recommended values
4. Do not prise belts into pulleys |

1. Excessive belts tension
2. Sand, debris or contamination |
1. Retention, check drive design
2. Clean and shield drive as well as possible |
