Biozyme OT 8 Biological Oil Stain Remover
With its introduction of Biozyme OT8, Blue Diamond has harnessed the powers of nature to clean up oil stains. Active ingredient of this liquid preparation is a colony of micro organisms of a type that occurs naturally in the wild around tar pits and oil shales. It literally eats oils and other heavy hydrocarbons, breaking them down into harmless water and carbon dioxide.
It is ideal for removing unsafe and unsightly stains caused by oil spills in refineries, cutting fluid leaks in machine shops, fuel drips in bunded storage areas or escapes of motor engine oil. It works on most hard surfaces, including paving and concrete.

Biozyme OT8 is quick and easy to apply. Simply pour it over the stained area (one litre is sufficient to treat about 5 square metres), agitate with a broom for a couple of minutes and leave it to do its work during the next 15 to 20 minutes. Finally wash the surface with a bucket of water; pressure hosing is neither necessary nor recommended.
There is no problem attached to releasing or washing the solution to drain in a controlled manner. The process continues working, gobbling up the nasty hydrocarbons and converting them into environmentally friendly residues. Meanwhile the treated surface is returned to its original pristine condition.
Easily gaining approval in C.O.S.S.H assessments and surpassing current environmental legislation, Biozyme OT8 deals with contamination in a truly responsible fashion.
Even the half litre, one litre and five litre containers it comes in are made of recyclable plastic, identified with a paper label The product is also pleasant to use, having an attractive aroma derived from the essence of pineapple pips among its ingredients.
Car parks, blocked paving and concrete drives, contaminated with vehicle oil stains are unsightly and could create a hazard when left untreated.
The removal of oil stains with traditional degreasers, particularly on porous block work, is extremely difficult and usually results In the oil stain extending to adjacent areas.

A unique, biological product from Blue Diamond that contains
biodegradable surfactants to release oil stains from even the most
porous surfaces, and enzymes and bacteria to digest the released oil.

| How to Use OT8 |
Litre of 0T8 will be sufficient to treat 10-25 square feet of oil stains,
depending on surface porosity. Before use, shake the container to put the bacteria into suspension.
Lightly wet the contaminated area with water and pour 0T8 across the oil stain.
Brush 0T8 into the oil stain for one or two minutes, until the product changes
colour from white to chocolate brown.
Leave for 20-30 minutes to soak in, then rinse off with water.
A second application may be required on porous surfaces, where oil stains may
re-appear as 0T8’s biological activity brings the ingrained oil to the surface.
