Rolwey Group acquires Eastleigh based PTF Engineering

Rolwey Group is delighted to announce that it has acquired PTF Engineering of Deacon Trading Estate, Eastleigh. PTF Engineering will join the established and successful Rolwey Group based at Rolwey House, School Close, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

This acquisition is seen as an exciting opportunity for both companies. It will extend the Rolwey Group's UK manufacturing capability and allow the strengthened group to develop market opportunities not available at present. PTF Engineering will continue to trade from the existing premises under it own name and no redundancies are planned.

From it premises in Eastleigh, PTF Engineering fabricates pipe work assemblies for the refineries at Fawley, where it also has engineers based on-site for installation and maintenance. Other activities include the fabrication of large water filtration units and the company also has a site at Hamble, which refurbishes MoD Mobile Filtration Units.

Rolwey Group was established in the mid 1970's and as a result of investment in new technologies and a strong company infrastructure, the business has grown rapidly over recent years. During this period it has developed a comprehensive customer service package including supplier chain management, stock logistics and customer product design, development and testing.

Rolwey Group comprises of Blue Diamond Technologies and Race-Tec NAK. Together with a stock range of power transmission and engineering products, Blue Diamond Technologies is also a specialist supplier of technical metal, plastic and rubber components to the manufacturing industry throughout the UK.

At is manufacturing base in Chandler Ford, Race-Tec NAK produces specialist hgih performance seals for the Motor sport industry including Formula 1 & GT cars. Products are shipped world-wide to a range of customers, including the leading professional race teams, for use in engines, gearboxes, hubs and suspension systems.

Rolwey Group Managing Director, and now Operators Director of PTFE, Mike Worley enthuses "Whilst a good deal of the Rolwey Group's success to date has involved manufacturing outside the UK, it is particularly exciting to have a British manufacturer as part of Our Group. We are hoping to redirect the majority of our large scale manufacturing needs through PTF Engineering".
