Increased scope for machined components

When Blue Diamond, the Southampton based engineering company, started to supply machined components over 30 years ago, the emphasis was on quality, reliability of supply and competitive prices.

Parts can be supplied unfinished or anodised, plated (a range of matt or polished finishes are available) or plastic coated as required.

By choosing individual companies from its quality-assessed suppliers, Blue Diamond can match the quantity requirements to the capacity available.

So whether the requirement is for a small quantity for evaluation or prototyping, or for hundreds of thousands for large production runs, Blue Diamond can respond by providing a highly competitive and flexible source.

It may be possible to make savings by changing the specification of the material or supplying the unit as part of an assembly.

Blue Diamond sources many of its components from outside the UK ensuring that they are delivered in the right material, to the right specification, at the right time.

Supplier companies in the Far East are thoroughly vetted to ensure they have invested in modern machinery and can meet the stringent quality standards.

And, because Blue Diamond is able to ship in bulk, shipping costs are minimised providing further savings for the customer.

Stockholding facilities are available and Kanban and JIT deliveries can also be organised.
