Blue Diamond can supply a wide range of special parts including machined components, cast parts, plastic components and sub assemblies for applications as diverse as submersible pumps, domestic showers, vending machines and temporary buildings.

Components can be supplied in almost any material including stainless steel and a range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Parts can be supplied unfinished or anodised, plated (a range of matt or polished finishes is available) or plastic coated.

Cast parts

High quality, low cost castings can be supplied in a range of sizes and materials including aluminium, cast iron and various alloys. Castings can be supplied unfettled for machining by the customer or fully machined and finished to the customer’s specification.



Plastic Components

Blue Diamond also work with a number of injection moulders and are able to supply moulded plastic components at very competitive prices. As tooling costs are significantly lower than in the UK, transferring production of existing mouldings can achieve payback times measured in weeks rather than years.



Assemblies
We are also able to supply assemblies of plastic and/or metal components. This can offer significant savings, not only when compared to UK assembly costs, but also through simplification of customers’ supply chain and In-house operations.

Design

All customer drawings are thoroughly checked by Blue Diamond engineers prior to production. Many customers also make use of our extensive design and 3-D modelling capabilities, both to improve existing products and also to bring new products into the market. Involving our engineers at the design stage of your products can reduce costs and shorten lead times dramatically



Stockholding
Customers commonly take advantage of our extensive UK stockholding facilities—we have over 20,000 square feet of computerised warehousing, ensuring that parts are stocked ready for efficient call-off as required. Kanban and JIT deliveries are offered.
